- M4x 2-wire to 4-wire Hybrid Module Raven Electronics has developed an application using their Raven M4x Blade device and at least one Z476-151 dual 4-wire port card. The two port card is programmed and configured to bridge a 4-wire circuit to a 2-wire circuit with no loss and very good isolation. The tests performed on this configuration suggests that the isolation can be greater than 70 dB. This was the lowest the TIMS set would read! When configured in this fashion the "New" hybrid configuration detects transmit audio outbound on the 2-wire configured port and automatically mutes the inbound Rx audio back to the other port(s). In other words when someone transmits on the 4-wire circuit this configuration automatically mutes the 4-wire audio back to the console or 4-wire device.
